We first enlisted Brad Bailey and Bailey Manufacturing over 10 years ago. We needed bookcases built in our library and were delighted with the professional way in which Brad completed the job. His approach to us was friendly, but completely business-like and his team worked skillfully under Brad's expert guidance.
We had no hesitation in asking Brad back to assist us in our next house at hamilton. Again the same diligence and adherence to detail was displayed and we were delighted with the finished results.
On moving to New Farm we again sought Brad's assistance with our apartment. The beautifully finished study that Brad created for us was again of a very high standard. Brad and his men were a delight to have working for us.
On moving to the city, three years ago, we were happy to have Brad come again to fix some of the glaring errors in the cabinetry we were faced with. Even though it was a brand new apartment, the work lacked the finesse, quality and attention to detail that we had come to expect from Bailey Manufacturing. Brad was happy to measure, advise and organise replacement cabinetry in the kitchen and bathrooms. He was also responsible for arranging a plumber, electrician and tiler etc. He also built a marvellous TV/Stereo unit to measure, as well as fitting out the library / computer room to our complete satisfaction.
In conclusion, over the past ten years Brad, and his team have become friends as well as valued craftsmen to us. We can't speak too highly of Bailey Manufacturing and of Brad himself.

Our first contact with the quality of Bailey's cabinet making skills was when they remodelled my parents kitchen. We were very impressed with Brad's design solutions for their originally difficult kitchen layout, the quality of the work undertaken and the smooth renovation process. We had no hesitation in engaging Bailey's / Brad for our more substantial kitchen renovation.
Brad's work on our kitchen encompassed the following processes:
- Initial site visits to our home to take accurate measurements of the kitchen and discuss our wants and needs and possible layouts
- Subsequent development of detailed plans with adjustments as required to incorporate our changing ideas
- Delivery of all appliances to the workshop to ensure an exact fit into the new cabinets being constructed
- Initial supervised workshop visit by us to preview a mock up of the kitchen to ensure we were happy with the layout of the kitchen and the heights of cabinets and other components
Prior to having the cabinets painted, we were guided by Brad on a final walk through of our assembled kitchen in the workshop to review the exact layout and ensure we were satisfied with all components.
Once work onsite commenced Brad managed the process of demolition and removal of the old kitchen and installation of the new kitchen from start to finish and in a safe and efficient manner. This involved:
- Coordinating his workers and all necessary trades - incl. tilers, electricians, plumbers, gas fitters as well as the tradesmen who installed the stone bench tops and glass splash back
- Making onsite visits daily or as necessary to check on the progress and the quality of work completed and ensuring a safe environment was maintained for both us and tradespeople
- Making last minute changes to the kickboards to accommodate our request for a different style from what we had approved, with no disruption to the timeline.
Brad and his staff conduct themselves in an extremely professional manner. We were well informed of the time each step of the process would take and the renovation was completed with minimal dusruption to our family. We would have no hesitation in recommending Bailey Manufacturing to others, and in fact have done so.
